Before I moved to VA and met Martha and LaClaire, I had ridden and shown hunt and western seat for about 10 years. I'd done well, but I've learned more about riding and horsemanship in my years with Sundance Manor than I ever did before. I actually learned to ride correctly! I've stayed with Saddleseat not only because I love the breed, but because the teaching and expertise at Sundance Manor is the best I've seen.

Thanks for teaching me so much in such a short time. I was pretty nervous going from hunter jump to saddle seat, but you guys made me comfortable and feel instantly accepted. I know, watch my hands and heels down!

I recently had the privilege to visit Sundance Manor Farms while attending the Roanoke Valley Horse Show 2008. I found the people employed by the farm to be very friendly, helpful to all and answered my questions about the Saddlebred Breed. They are very good at handling the students and putting them with the horse that is best suited for them. They will work with you in any way they can to make sure your experiences with the horse showing world is pleasant and fun. This is a family type business and you do not see this type of operation at many facilities. This facility is worth looking into to further your education in the equine business. You will have a very pleasant experience riding and showing with them. Thanks to the Sundance Manor Farms family for making my visit to your farms a pleasure and very educational one. Good luck at the 2009 show season. Looking forward to seeing you all again at the 2009 Roanoke Valley Horse Show in Roanoke Virginia. Ann Hale P.S. They do not yell at their students or use bad language. They are a very good Christian Family, which I like to be around.

Thanks Mary. We are very proud that Chelsea was able to ride one of our lesson ponies to this win in her first A-Rated show.

Having partcipated in the Harvard-Radcliff Equestrian Jumping Program, Virginia Polo Center: Piedmont Women's Polo & University of Virginia Collegiate Polo (Charlottesville, VA), in addition to riding Saddle Seat for many years at Claremont Stables in Manhattan, NY and in Virginia, I am very happy to have an opportunity to express my feelings about this wonderful establishment. Based on my many experiences, some of which I have listed above, I hold this establishment in high esteem; I have experienced and profited from their vast knowledge, wisdom, compassion, and ethics, in teaching Thinking Horsemanship.
